Stella Spinning

One of my friends is a well known weaver in Jerusalem, with a studio in the same state-subsidized building as mine. Stella is a Polish, Australian, Israeli who cards, dyes, and weaves wool into beautiful tapestries. As I watched her nimble fingers spin the wool from the wheel, I asked her if I could include her in one of my sculptures.
