Mea Shearim, a very orthodox section of Jerusalem is beautiful on the Sabbath. As we walked along the narrow winding streets, we saw the highly orthodox men wearing their extraordinary silk brocade Sabbath robes, mink hats in the shape of large pancakes, and leather boots. They carried highly embroidered talis bags.
