This bronze sculpture of Sal’s Bear is a maquette (scale model) of the larger bear in the Children’s Garden of the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Harbor, Maine It is taken from the drawings in the book "Blueberries for Sal" by the author Robert McCloskey. It is signed by me and cast in bronze, mounted on a Creme Marfil marble base, under which is a rotating Lazy Susan hardware.
There is a pendant version of Sal's Bear as well as a zipper pull version available.
